Tuesday Tip Day

Since we had an interview this week, we'll be getting our tip from Delphine Burkes:

What tip would you like to give others that are WAHP or want to be?

I would say do something that you enjoy and can do with your children present. Do something you can include them in, I enjoy having other kids over to play with a little story time, it's nice for my kids and others. I also advise finding a company that realizes the power of the internet. At Barefoot Books we have our own websites and web resources through a business office. For just $9.99 per month we have company email with campaign headers and most importantly a sales site where people can purchase securely online at any time from any where in the world. We ship internationally, Barefoot Books come directly from the warehouse. This is wonderful for fundraisers, I just assign your group an event code, donors shop online and enter the code, the organization gets 20% of sales. It's as easy as sending an email to all the people on the list and announcing the dates of the online event. There is no need to handle the goods or distribute them with online fundraising!
