Job Details

New online blog about the automotive industry, its products and trends seeks blogger with his/her own computer and high-speed internet connection for work. The preferred candidate must be an auto enthusiast with intermediate HTML programming skills or high proficiency with graphics/office software and has the desire to work hard. All communication is in English.

Job Duties:

1. Search Internet news sources (a recommended list of sources will be provided) and aggregated incoming press releases
2. Identify breaking news stories and prioritize their importance
3. Download, edit and publish content utilizing the Wordpress content management system
4. Post 120 stories per month, during American business working days. This works out to roughly 5-6 posts per business day.

Skills Required:

Strong enthusiasm and general knowledge of automobiles past and present
Strong familiarization of European, Asian and American auto manufacturer model ranges
HTML – intermediate level
Photo editing software (Photoshop) – intermediate level
MS Word or Open Office – intermediate level
Must be fluent or native level in English (spoken and written)
