Want to work from home?

Over the next several weeks, I am going to be working for a Work at Home venture for my cousin. I am going to be taking her, step by step, through the processes I have been through over a 7 year time span and getting her set up with her own website, blog and more.

On this blog, I will log each step of the way so that others who desire to earn money from home and via the computer can partake of the information as well.

To begin with, we worked and played with a feature on Overture to determine what keywords might be best to focus on. You can see that tool here.

Next we came up with a name that was suitable for her and what she wishes to accomplish. Once the name was decided on, we secured the domain name and hosting by following the steps I have posted here.

Once the orders are in place, it will take approximately 48 hours for everything to be set to go. In that time, you will want to begin drawing out a site map that will outline topics you will be covering in your site. You need to have a clear plan of what you hope to accomplish.

It's a good idea to secure a blog to go along with your business. I am partial to blogger, but there are many other services out there for you to use.
