What is a blog post worth?

Much like Darren, I receive emails from bloggers or blogger hopefuls who would like to know what is an appropriate fee to charge per blog post.

Though I've always handled these requests privately, I like what Darren has done in opening up the topic to his readers.

I'd highly recommend checking out his post and what his readers have to say - but I'd also like to try to ignite a discussion here to find out what criteria other bloggers are going by when coming up with their own fees and pricing.
