Create Classifieds to Generate Profit

As of June, advertisers had spent $5.8 billion to place ads online this year, a 26 percent increase compared with the first six months of 2004, according to this article at News.com

Overall, search ads accounted for 40 percent of Internet ad sales, in line with last year. Banner ads and classified listings were the next-biggest ad categories, attracting 20 percent and 18 percent of the spending.

In this article “classified ads” are actually “Text Ads” not like the standard classifieds we’ve become familiar with on sites such as Craigslist.

Because of this particular story, I took Pud up on his advice at Adbrites Blog and created my own unique styles of classifieds on one of my sites.

I’d also like to mention that Adbrite revenue accounts for about 1 quarter of my overall monthly income from one of my websites and is consistantly increasing.

Why not jump on the Abrite Bandwagon now and take advantage of some of the upcoming winter traffic on the net.

If you sign up for Adbrite please sign up through my Adbrite affiliate link. It will not take away from your profits, but will add a small amount to my own for the period of three months, after which time it reduces to a much smaller percentage.
